Certifications, Permits, and Codes The C200 HRM is designed and manufactured in accordance with a variety of national and international standards. Installations may require one or more permits from local regulatory agencies. It is not practical to list in the User's Manual the requirements of each authority having jurisdiction and how the C200 HRM meets those requirements. For product data, such as weights, dimensions, and required clearances, please contact your Capstone ASP or distributor. 1.3. C200 HRM Description The C200 HRM operates with the C200 Microturbine to provide hot water heat recovery in combined heat and power (CHP) applications. The heat recovery system is based on a CAIN Industries Heat Recovery Silencer Radial (HRSR) exhaust economizer with integral temperature controller and exhaust diverter. The controller provides a digital readout of the temperature of water leaving the heat exchanger, and it allows the user to set the desired outlet temperature. An electrically operated exhaust gas diverter valve is actuated by the controller to maintain outlet temperature at the programmed setpoint. Power for the HRM controller and actuator can be supplied by a local power distribution panel for Grid Connect only applications. Microturbine applications configured for dual mode operation must power the HRM controller from an external auxiliary power source (e.g., a UPS) when the microturbine is initiating a start or stop sequence in Stand Alone mode. Depending on the configuration of the HRM selected, the HRM will require either 400 or 480 VAC. Refer to Figure 1 and the O&I drawing (Table 1) for external features and envelope dimensions of the Capstone C200 HRM. 400021 Rev B (October 2012) Page 10 of 26 Capstone reserves the right to change or modify, without notice, the design, specifications, and/or contents of this document without incurring any obligation either with respect to equipment previously sold or in the process of construction.PDF Image | Capstone MicroTurbine C200 Heat Recovery Module (HRM) User’s Manual
