Static gas pressure measurements do not accurately indicate the available gas pressure during system operation. If the system starts and runs until the demand for fuel increases, then shuts down and displays a ”Low Inlet Gas Pressure Fault”, then gas supply capacity is the most likely problem. If after a Low Inlet Gas Pressure Fault the system can immediately be restarted and the fault repeats, then the only acceptable corrective action is to correctly size the natural gas supply components. This will ensure that the required minimum inlet gas pressure is maintained at maximum flow demand. Note: Contact Copeland Corporation for information on special non-pipeline applications where the available gas pressure is not sufficient to maintain the required minimum inlet pressure.
