This test was chosen since data were not normal. Subsequently, the Scheffe test (alpha = 0.05) was used to indicate which groups differed significantly (see Table 12) and three groups were identified. The first group (with the highest level of kiln drying related knowledge) included kiln operators, the second group included equipment suppliers and the third group (with the lowest level of kiln drying related knowledge) included distributors, sales personnel and customers.
