Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 Service Bulletin: Torque Requirements – Capstone 60 MicroTurbine BCM Power Board (510252) – Stand Alone System Only The procedure for applying the new torque value is as follows: 1. Remove the lower side panels of the MicroTurbine. 2. Remove the BCM fan cover. 3. Remove the front cover of the BCM. Locate the Power Board as illustrated in Figure 1. Figure 1. BCM Power Board 4. Adjust the torque wrench to 45 lb-in. Install the adaptor for #3 Phillips screws into the torque wrench. Tighten the three Phillips screws (marked as DC+) at the lower edge of the Power Board to 45 lb-in. 5. Install the 10-mm socket for M6 KEP nuts into the torque wrench. Tighten the three KEP nuts (marked as DC-) at the lower edge of the Power Board to 45 lb-in. 6. Replace the BCM cover. 7.
