Summary A wiring issue on the APS-145 will cause a connected DMSC to lose power when a grid outage occurs. The rewire procedure described in this document reroutes power to correct this issue. Required Action Affected APS-145 units must be rewired at commissioning as follows. (Refer to Capstone Advanced Power Server (APS) Model 145 Technical Reference (410079) for terminal locations.) 1. Prepare for rewire as follows. a. Issue stop command to all connected turbines from APS panel PC. b. Isolate APS from all external power sources. c. Open APS door. d. Turn off UPS by holding down button for ~5 seconds. e. Use digital multimeter to verify that there is no voltage in APS circuits. 2. Rewire APS-145 as follows. See Figure 1. a. Disconnect DC + (red) from terminal 1-3 power supply TB1 and connect DC + to top terminal 2-5 on TB2. b.
