Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 • USA Work Instructions: Exciter Replacement ñ Capstone MicroTurbine Required Tools ! 3/4î Wrench ! 3/8î Nut Driver Procedures The replacement instructions are comprised of the disassembly and assembly procedures. 1. Remove the igniter cable using the 3/4î wrench. 2. Unscrew the power cable. 3. Remove the mounting bolts using the 3/8î nut driver. 4. Remove the Exciter box. 5. Mount the new exciter. 6. Re-connect the power cable. 7. Reconnect the igniter cable using the 3/4î wrench. 8. Re-connect the power cable. Tighten by hand. 9. Use the 3/4î wrench to tighten. 10. Turn on power. 11. Turn on fuel supply. 12. Test the system for proper operation as detailed in the MicroTurbine Userís Manual.
