Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 • USA Work Instructions: Model C60 Air Filter Replacement Replacement Instructions Perform the following instructions to replace the air filter on the Model C60 MicroTurbine: 1. OpentheModelC60frontdoorbyinsertinga5/16-inchallenwrenchinto the two key holes. 2. Wedge a flat-edged screwdriver or other thin blunt-edged utility tool between the air filter foam gasket and inlet housing. Use different insertion points around the diameter of the air filter to gently release the filter gasket. 3. Attempt to remove the filter from the housing by pulling gently on the black knob in the center of the filter. If the filter does not easily detach from the housing, do not exert more pressure. Repeat the preceding step to further loosen the gasket. Using excess force in removing the filter can cause the knob to detach and lead to the air filter unraveling. NOTE The gasket should not be punctured or torn from the filter element during this process. Separation of the gasket and filter by use of a sharp-edge tool may damage the gasket and increase the difficulty of the process.
