Component Preparation: • • On 480 V panels, check phase to phase and phase to ground on all three legs. Voltages should be within 10% nominal voltage. ST PETERSBURG SECTION 2 COMMISSIONING 1. Review the previous installation instructions and ensure that everything has been installed as specified. 2. Compressor and oil knock out vessel will need to be filled with oil. The oil level in the knock out vessel should cover half of the top sight glass. (Refer to Oil change fill procedure in Section 6 of this manual for more details.) 3. Fill the chiller with glycol. • If chiller has side panels, remove the one that covers the glycol reservoir • Remove the cap from the fill port of the reservoir. • Fill reservoir to the top of the sight tube using the following guidelines: • For ambient temperatures above 0 ̊F, use a 30/70 mix of inhibited ethylene glycol and distilled water. • For ambient temperatures between 0 and -40 ̊F, use a 50/50 mix of inhibited ethylene glycol and distilled water. • Do not use automotive application coolant. • Leave the cap off of the reservoir fill port as the glycol level will be topped off in the post start checks below. 4. Use the manual valve listing in the Overview section of this manual to ensure that no valves are incorrectly positioned. 5. Load the media into Siloxane media filtration vessels Energize System: 1.
