Indicator Table 2. Controller Display Indicators Description Located on the line below the process variable, this indicator displays the value of the user-defined temperature setpoint. Indicates if Alarm 1 and/or Alarm 2 conditions exist. Only Alarm 2 is used on the C200 HRM for the over-temperature fault. Indicates whether the value of the process variable is expressed in degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius. Indicates manual or automatic mode. The C200 HRM is preprogrammed to operate in automatic mode. On the C200 HRM, the Process Variable contains the outlet water temperature. 3.2.2. Operating the Controller The temperature controller is the user interface for the temperature control function of the HRM. The controller automatically adjusts the modulating actuator on the HRM to increase or decrease the water temperature to match the value of the setpoint entered by the user. In addition, the controller is used to monitor water temperature, alarms, and controller status. The user operates the input controls (Figure 4) to adjust the water temperature setpoint, and to set up the display to show the water temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. Refer to Table 3 for a description of the input controls.
