6022 Internal Fault SUSTAINED OTMP Sustained Overtemperature System Severity Level 7 The software provides protection against continued combustion after a shutdown has been commanded. This fault is declared if the TET reaches above a predetermined temperature after the shutdown purge is complete and enters the disable state. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Temperature Does Not Fall Adequately During Shutdown Purge. Fuel Not Shutoff When Engine Shut- down. If engine TET reading is falling or has fallen below 800F then look further for troubleshooting. If TET reading does not fall then take action to ensure combus- tion has ceased. Prevent fuel supply to system by turning user supplied shutoff valve to the off position. Temperature Mea- surement error A faulty TET thermocouple sen- sor could cause false high read- ings. Verify that the temperature sensors are reading close and accurate. Verify TET Thermo-cou- ple Readings are within 250F. Trouble-shoot TET faults. Too Much Fuel Deliv- ered to Engine Dur- ing Purge. Imperfections in the control sys- tem could cause an excessive amount of fuel to be delivered to the engine during shutdown purge. Restart the system and continue operation. Report to Capstone Customer Service.
