2010 Internal Fault INV IGBT LCM Sensed Inverter IGBT Failure System Severity Level 5 This fault is declared when the LCM Control Board senses a malfunction of the Inverter IGBT module. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Inverter IGBT Fault Status indicates fault Ground Wiring Refer to the Installation documents for proper grounding configuration. Correct electrical wiring configuration Shorted Loads Verify the external loads do not have a phase to neutral or phase to ground shorted. Disconnect loads and start system in the Stand Alone mode. Fix problem with the loads Harness connected Verify connection from LCM Control Board (J1) to IGBT is secure and not damaged. Repair/replace IGBT Control Harness Battery Voltage Missing (Stand Alone) Verify the DC bus voltage is present. Check battery DC bus connections. Correct DC bus problems Battery Voltage too Low (Stand Alone) Check battery voltage Re-charge the battery pack Low Power Supply Voltage Verify LED 9 illuminates on LCM Control Board Attempt a LCM Control Board PM upload. Replace LCM Control Board. Short on LCM Control Board Circuitry on LCM Control Board has failed Attempt a LCM Control Board PM upload. Replace LCM Control Board. Inverter IGBT Shorted Refer to the Troubleshooting A MicroTurbine That Does Not Wake Up section to test the integrity of the Inverter IGBT’s. Attempt a LCM Control Board PM upload. Replace LCM Power Board. Replace LCM IGBT Pack. Shorted Inverter Inductors Refer to the Troubleshooting a Micro- Turbine that Does Not Wake Up section.
