12002 Internal Fault BATT UNDER VOLT Battery Undervoltage System Severity Level 5 The software declares a battery undervoltage fault when the measured value of the battery voltage falls below the minimum voltage value stored in the Battery Personality Module, in any control cycle. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The filtered Battery Voltage falls below the Battery Low Voltage limit. Weak Battery Check the battery voltage and state-of-charge Charge the battery. Open/loose connections Check the voltage sense line connector is tight from J3 on the BCM Control Board to J1 on the BCM Power Board. Tighten cable connections The parameters used to detect the Battery undervoltage fault is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCM PM and battery pack PM are programmed properly, and they are supported by the installed BCM control software. Re-program the BCM PM and Battery Pack PM. Faulty BCM Control Board Circuitry on BCM Control Board has failed Attempt a BCM PM upload. Replace BCM Control Board. Faulty BCM Power Board Circuitry on BCM Power Board has failed Attempt a BCM PM upload. Replace BCM Power Board. 12003 Internal Fault BATT OC A Leg A Overcurrent System Severity Level 5 Overcurrent protection prevents application of excessive stress to the Intelligent Power Module (IPM). The software declares a Leg Overcurrent fault when Leg A current inputs exceed the Leg Overcurrent for any one sample. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Leg A Current exceeds the Leg Overcurrent limit. The default value of the Leg Overcurrent limit is not set correctly. Make sure that the BCM PM is programmed properly, and it is supported by the installed BCM control software. Re-program the BCM PM. Faulty BCM Power Board Circuitry on BCM Power Board has failed Attempt a BCM PM upload. Replace BCM Power Board.
