1002 Internal Fault MAIN RAM FAULT DPC Control Board RAM Failed System Severity Level 7 A RAM test is performed at power-up to verify the integrity of each memory location. The test is only executed at power-up because most electronic failures occur when a device is initially powered on and not during normal operation.This fault is declared if the RAM test is not successful. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Data cannot be read from RAM RAM chip has failed No faults are displayed. In Stand Alone mode, the system may power up with display lights on, but no display, and no RS232 communication. In Grid Connect mode, the system will power up with no display lights or display, and RS-232 communication is not functional. The system may operate fine for some period of time and inter- mittently shut down. Replace DPC Control Board (See Document 513176) 1003 Internal Fault CB MEM CSUM DPC Control Board EEPROM Checksum System Severity Level 7 This error is declared if the verification checksum does not verify the contents of the data structure stored in the DPC Control Board EEPROM module. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution CRC of DPC Control Board data structures can not be veri- fied. Cannot verify DPC system data structures DPC system part number on display or in HWCNFG command reads zero Program DPC System EEPROM structures Cannot verify DPC control board data structures DPC system part number on display or in HWCNFG command is a valid non-zero number Program DPC Control Board EEPROM structures DPC Control Board EEPROM device has failed Structures can be downloaded over the communication link successfully, but fail when executing burn command.
