12006 Internal Fault BATT IPM Battery Intelligent Power Module (IPM) System Severity Level 5 Hardware circuit protection is provided in the Intelligent Power Module (IPM) to detect overcurrent, undervoltage, and overtemperature conditions. The software declares an IPM fault when any of these circuits is not operating correctly. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The IPM Device Has Detected Either Over- current, Undervoltage, or Overtemperature Condition. Transient caused by DPC faults. This could happen in some transients caused by either DPC faults or grid/load faults. Reboot the system. Faulty BCT Power Board BCT Power Board needs replacing. Replace BCT Power Board (See Document 513158) 12007 Internal Fault BATT PRECHARGE Battery Precharge Failed System Severity Level 5 The software declares a Pre-charge Failed fault if the ratio of DC bus voltage to Battery voltage does not exceed a predetermined value, within the period after the pre-charge contactor was commanded closed. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The Ratio of Dc Bus Volt- age to Battery Voltage Does Not Exceed Kprechrg Within the Period After the Precharge Contactor Was Commanded Closed of up to Tprechrg Error in the cable connections between the BCT and the DPC. Check the connections of the DC bus lines. Fix connections error. Short circuit condition exists on the DC bus. Check if the DC bus capacitors and IPM modules of the DPC are in good condition. Replace DPC power board Pre-charge resistor is burned Replace. Replace. Charge the battery. Faulty BCT Power Board BCT Power Board needs replacing.
