Remove Heat Exchanger 1. Disconnect,lockoutandtagthemainelectricalpowersupplybyturningthe main circuit breaker/fusible disconnect off. 2. Close,lockoutandtagthe1’’(25.4mm)GasInletValve. 3. Close,lockoutandtagthe3⁄4’’(19mm)GasOutlet(Discharge)Valve. 4. Openthe1⁄4’’(6.4mm)GasOutlet(Discharge)BleedValvetorelievesystem pressure. 5. Openthe1⁄4’’(6.4mm)GasInletBleedValvetorelievesystempressure. 6. Removethetop,2largeside,2smallsidepanelsandtheheatexchanger grill, as seen when facing the control panel. 7. Usethepressuregaugetoverifythatsystempressureiszeropsig. Remove Heat Exchangers 8. Usingabackupwrenchdisconnectbothswagefittingsfromthegasheat exchanger. 9. Remove 6 screws from the heat exchanger fan shroud. Remove the shroud fan assembly and lean it against the compressor being careful to not damage the electrical connections. 10.Remove the 2 hex head mounting screws that attach the gas heat exchanger to the black sub-base. 11.Remove the 4 bolts that attach the black sub-base to the fuel gas booster base. 12.Using a backup wrench disconnect both oil tubes from the oil cooler and move them out of the way. If necessary loosen the fittings on the opposite end of the oil tubes. 13.Remove the 4 hex head mounting screws that attach the oil cooling heat exchanger to the black sub -base. Lift the sub-base and use an open end wrench to remove the right front screw. 14.Remove the oil and gas cooler as an assembly. Rotate and tilt as necessary to remove. Preparation 15.Remove the plastic quick mount clips that hold the oil and gas coolers together. Use a side cutter, cut on the oil cooling heat exchanger side. 16.Using a backup wrench to prevent the tubing from rotation remove the fittings from the original oil cooler. 17.Cleaned the threads on the original fittings and apply thread sealant. 18.Using a backup wrench to prevent the tubing from rotating install the fittings on the replacement oil cooler. Do not over tighten, or twist or distort the heat exchanger fittings and tubes. 19.Install the 2 new quick mount clips onto the gas heat exchanger between the 2nd and 3rd tubes from the top. The new foam spacers are adhesive backed and should be installed onto the quick mount clips sticking them to the gas heat exchanger.
