9016 Internal Fault GDSP DIG OTMP Generator DSP Digital Over Temperature System Severity Level 6 This fault is reported by the Semikron IGBT to the Generator DSP. A temperature fault is inserted at 115 °C (+/- 5 °C). The software declares this fault when the IGBT Over Temperature fault has tripped. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution IGBT module reports Over- temperature fault Loss of Cooling Check ECM fan operation. 1. Verify connections from J5 on ECM Control Board to J4 on Fan Inverter Board. 2. Verify connections from J2 on Power Board to HV DC IN on Fan Inverter Board. Replace Fan or Fan Inverter. Check air path Clean air filter Open/Loose connection (Flex Harness) Check ribbon cables W201 and W203 for loose connections or damage. Secure or replace cable(s) Faulty IPM Module Fault persists after IGBT has cooled.
