9015 Internal Warning GDSP FAN FAIL Generator DSP Fan Failure System Severity Level 2 This fault is reported by the ECM fan power supply to the Generator DSP. The software declares this fault when an open signal from the ECM fan power supply is received. Note that the ECM fan power supply runs both the ECM and LCM fans. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The Generator has detected the open circuit condition of the Fan Power Supply. Open/Loose connection 1. Verify connections from J5 on ECM Control Board to J4 on Fan Inverter Board. 2. Verify connections from J2 on Power Board to HV DC IN on Fan Inverter Board. Fix any loose or faulty connection. 24V Power Supply failed Verify 24V Power supply. Replace PDM. E-Stop Present Check if E-Stop is present. Remove E-Stop. Fan failed With power OFF, rotate the fan by hand and verify it spins freely. Remove the fan connector and perform a resistance check on fan terminals as follows: 1. Set the Digital Multimeter to diode test. 2. Measure the resistance between the red wire (T1) and the black wire (T3) - should be 190 Ohms (approx). 3. Measure the resistance between the white wire (T2) and the black wire (T3) - should be 65 Ohms (approx). 4. Measure the resistance between the red wire (T1) and the white wire (T2) - should be 120 Ohms (approx) 5. Measure the resistance between the Ground wire and each of the three terminals (T1, T2, and T3) - should be an open circuit.
