9002 Internal Fault GDSP ADC CONV Generator DSP A/D Conversion Failed System Severity Level 6 An Analog to Digital Conversion failure is declared if the software detects an incorrect read back from any RAM memory location. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Analog to Digital (A/D) conversion is failed The A/D conversions do not finish within the expected time The control software may contain bugs. Check if there is newer version of control software released. Update the control software. A/D conversion overruns occurred. The control software may contain bugs. Check if there is newer version of control software released. Update the control software. System is not initialized properly. Try to reboot the system. Reboot the system. Faulty ECM Control Board ECM Control Board needs replacing. Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The Reference Voltage of the A/D conversion is not accurate enough. System is not initialized properly. Try to reboot the system. Reboot the system. Faulty ECM Control Board Control Board needs replacing. Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Replace ECM Control Board.
