PRELIMINARY Transformer Data Transformers A 100 kVA transformer for the Capstone 60 will be required for any of the following grid connect applications: 1. Circuit connect voltages other than 400-480 VAC. 2. Connection to a supply circuit configuration not approved by Capstone Turbine Corporation. 3. Connection to a system where the impedance is high enough to cause over-voltage at the rated output current of the Capstone 60. In this case, a tapped intervening transformer is required to lower to nominal voltage, if this cannot be done with any existing transformers. The preferred connection has the Capstone 60 connected directly to the utility or to a transformer with neutral connected to ground. The Capstone 60 Neutral-to-Ground Post must be removed. The Neutral to Ground Post (and screw) are installed as shipped. The Post is located behind the busbar and is not visible in this view. MicroTurbine Neutral to Ground Post Removed!
