Introduction This Application Guide is intended to provide information regarding allowable fuel characteristics and expected performance when operating Capstone MicroTurbine liquid fuel systems on liquid biofuels such as biodiesel. Microturbines operating on liquid biofuels must have the latest construction that includes corrosion-resistant metals and seals in the fuel system. Consult Capstone to verify that the microturbine system you are ordering is of the correct construction. Compliance with the requirements detailed in this document is essential to avoid problems that may affect the performance, life, reliability, warranty, and in some cases, the safe operation of the Capstone MicroTurbine.
