Introduction An Enhanced Liquid Fuel System initiative, using recent reliability data, identified areas in which Capstone Model C30 systems could enhance performance and life, while operating on liquid fuels such as diesel and kerosene. Previous use of these fuels could result in inconsistent MicroTurbine operation at startup and reduced fuel pump life. Featured improvements include: auto-priming capability, drain system improvements, low power operation capability, enhanced electric fuel pump life and software fault detection. In addition, more powerful user-interface controls have been incorporated into the remote monitoring software design. This document presents a summary of these new features and detailed descriptions of software settings and fault code changes for commissioning and operating the system.
