Connect the coaxial cables between the APS and the turbines as described in the following paragraphs. End-of-line signal terminators MUST be present on the initial and final connection for 10Base-2 cable connections. If terminations are not present, electrical ringing may be present, and the signal can be severely degraded or interrupted. 4.4.2.1 Installing Chokes on Coaxial Cables If coaxial cables do not have chokes, install chokes as follows: 1. Place the choke about 6 inches (152 mm) from the top edge of the BNC connector on the coaxial cable. Wrap the cable two times around the choke and close the choke (see Figure 22). Do this at each end of the cable. 2. Verify that the distance between the choke and the BNC connector on the coaxial cable is not be more than 5 inches (127 mm), as shown in Figure 23. Figure 22.
