Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 Installation Instructions: Roll Out Option Kit, Model 330 IP and C60 LIP Accomplishment Instructions This section contains instructions necessary to install the Roll Out Option Kit. These instructions are comprised of the Disassembly and Assembly procedures. Conduct maintenance in a clean, well-lighted area using normal shop tooling to avoid damage to delicate components. Retain all parts removed for use at assembly, unless otherwise specified. Discard all parts as noted in this document. Disassembly The following procedure applies to both the Model 330 Industrial Package and the Capstone 60 LIP Model. Differences are noted as applicable. 1. RemovetheMicroTurbinefromservice.Disconnectallfuellinesandthe electrical power from the MicroTurbine. 2. IftheMicroTurbineisboltedtoitssupportingsurface,thenremovethebolts so the unit is free to be moved, using a forklift or a pallet jack forks. 3. OnasingleMicroTurbineinstallation,inserttheforksintothetwopocketson the right or left side at the base of the unit (see the following Figure). Gently lift the unit directly up to clear the supporting surface by approximately 50 mm (two inches). If necessary, move the MicroTurbine forward sufficiently to gain access to both the front and the back of the MicroTurbine. 4. OnaMultiPacinstallation,inserttheforksintothetwopocketsinfrontofthe unit (see the following Figure). Gently lift the unit directly up to clear the supporting surface. Move the MicroTurbine forward sufficiently to allow the forks to be inserted into the pockets on the left or right side of the unit. Lower the MicroTurbine so it rests on its supporting surface. Insert the forks into the pockets on the side of the unit. Gently lift the unit directly up to clear the supporting surface by approximately 50 mm (two inches).
