Brescacin, Manager, Engineering & Product Development PHONE: (519) 451-0310 Ext 222 FAX: (519) 451-0310 EMAIL: RyanT@Kochind.com This bulletin is applicable only to First-generation micoGenTM units with manufacturing dates prior to Nov. 2000. In some cases the insulation of the bottom internal portion of the heat recovery unit may have come off causing excessive heat to be discharged into the enclosure. In other cases insulation may have been insufficient or may have come off of the back of the covering of the control board. The result in both cases can be over-heating of the control board. Unifin addressed this problem in all known cases by either travelling to sites which had units that were affected or by sending kits to the owners of such units with instructions for installing this insulation. If you have a unit from this era with control board failure due to overheating, contact Unifin Customer Service for procedures that instruct how to replace control boards and how and where to install required insulation to protect against control board overheating. .
