Safety Precautions Only Capstone Authorized Serviced Providers (ASPs) should open the MicroTurbine and other equipment connected to the MicroTurbine. The systems can include multiple sources of power. Observe and adhere to the Safety Instructions contained within the MicroTurbine User’s Manual (400001). Summary Depending upon the installation environment, the Model C60 Large Industrial Package MicroTurbine systems installed outdoors without a shelter may be exposed to a considerable amount of rain or snow. Certain installations may cause water to seep into the MicroTurbine and may cause damage to the various components inside the MicroTurbine. This Service Bulletin is issued to notify Authorized Service Providers that a field retrofit kit is available to provide enhanced protection from water ingress into the Model C60 Large Industrial Package MicroTurbine systems. The Kit Part Number is 610091. Refer to the Water Prevention Enhancement Retrofit Kit Work Instructions (440108) for installation details. Responsibility It is the responsibility of Capstone to provide the enhancement kit contained in this document to the Authorized Service Providers. It is the responsibility of the Authorized Service Providers to contact their customers and to inform them of the availability of an upgrade kit. It is the responsibility of the Authorized Service Providers to provide Capstone with a Field Service Report upon completion of the upgrade.
