Capstone Turbine Corporation ■ 21211 Nordhoff Street ■ Chatsworth ■ CA 91311 Service Bulletin: Battery Pack Service Criteria – Model 330 MicroTurbine Capstone Customer Service Capstone Customer Service is requesting the return of all failed batteries so that proper failure analysis may be accomplished. Please use and follow the detailed procedures contained within the RMA Return Procedure 512176 when returning parts to Capstone. Battery packs stored for extended periods will become discharged. If the battery voltage is below 216 volts for a period greater than 2 weeks, the battery pack may have permanently reduced capacity and could require replacement. Before battery packs are returned to Capstone (under Warranty), a battery charge must be attempted. Please make sure that all of the steps noted on the RMA Return Procedure are accomplished before your removed components are returned to Capstone Turbine Corporation. Always use the Return Material Authorization forms. This will help to ensure that your returned material is properly received at Capstone. These maintenance parameters will take effect immediately to prevent possible failure problems associated with Stand Alone batteries.
