Safety Precautions Only Capstone Authorized Serviced Providers (ASP’s) should open the MicroTurbine and other equipment connected to the MicroTurbine. The systems can include multiple sources of power. Observe and adhere to the Safety Instructions contained within the MicroTurbine User’s Manual. Summary This Service Notice is issued to notify Authorized Service Providers of the replacement of the existing JASC SPV Assemblies on the Model C30 MicroTurbines, with the new SPV25 Retrofit Kits, whenever a JASC SPV replacement is necessary. The affected JASC SPV Assemblies are 503044-1xx, 503044-2xx, 509224-1xx, and 509224-2xx. The new SPV25 Retrofit Kit Part Numbers are 516925-1xx, 516926-1xx, 516927-1xx, 516928-1xx, 516929- 1xx and 517149-1xx. Capstone requests that when replacing the existing JASC SPV Assemblies as explained above, they should be replaced with the SPV25 model illustrated in the applicable retrofit kit. Refer to SPV25 Retrofit Kits Work Instructions (440093) for kit applicability and installation details. Responsibility It is the responsibility of Capstone to provide this Service Notice to Authorized Service Providers. It is the responsibility of the Authorized Service Providers to perform the replacement procedure, whenever applicable.
