Summary New C60 software code set v4.30 is being introduced to reduce engine flameout starts, and satisfy UL requirements for grid transition delay time. Improvements are summarized as follows: 1. Improved the SPV25 response time algorithm during startup to reduce incidents of ‘flameout starts’. 2. Set the minimum GC transition delay interval after a grid outage to five (5) minutes to conform to UL requirements. A GC unit restarting after a grid outage is required to execute this delay after Auto-Restart before turning On. 3. Updated MultiPac logic so that MicroTurbines recharge their batteries after being MultiPac disabled. This feature is required to support some PLC based applications. 4. Updated the limits on the ‘Minimum Sleep Time’ variable. It is now settable to six seconds, down from a minimum of six minutes. It is the responsibility of Capstone to make available the software to Authorized Service Providers for the resolution of issues related to field MicroTurbine systems. It is the responsibility of the Authorized Service Provider to diagnose related field issues, and upload this software to resolve the problem.
