Summary On the Model C30 Low Pressure MicroTurbine systems using FB RFC, when the FB RFC pump assembly is replaced, the new pump may not be properly controlled by the FB RFC Controller, due to a recent redesign and configuration change in the FB RFC pump assembly. Capstone requires that when the FB RFC pump assembly fails, both the pump assembly and the Controller be replaced with a new FB RFC Replacement Kit. The Kit Part Number is 516456 and is comprised of a FB RFC pump assembly and a Controller. October 2003 Capstone Technical Support Foil Bearing RFC Pump Replacement - Model C30 MicroTurbine NOTE If the FB RFC Controller fails, replace it with another Controller. Do not use the new FB RFC Replacement Kit (516456).
