Safety Precautions Only Capstone Authorized Serviced Providers should open the MicroTurbine and other equipment connected to the MicroTurbine. The systems can include multiple sources of power. Observe and adhere to the Safety Instructions contained within the MicroTurbine User’s Manual. Summary On the Model C30 Stand Alone MicroTurbine systems, through a field incident, it was discovered that a stainless steel standoff was installed where a nylon standoff was required for supporting the BCT Power Board. This resulted in damage to the Power Board. To eliminate the damage to the BCT Power Board, Capstone requests that at the next service visit, the ASP should verify that the three lower standoffs and the mounting screw that goes into the right standoff are all nylon as required (see the following figure). If stainless steel standoffs and/or screw are found, replace them with nylon parts, using the C30 BCT Nylon Screw and Nylon Spacers Kit (610074-100). Refer to BCT Power Board Replacement Work Instructions (513158) for replacement details.
