ConnecttheECMFancabledirectlytotheECM(FanAConnector), bypassing the ECM Filter. 2. ConnectoneendofthenewExtensionCable512462-1XXsuppliedwiththe replacement kit to the ECM (Fan B Connector). 3. Connectbothgroundwirestothegroundstudontheleftsideofconnectors, using the Kep nut supplied with the kit. Tighten the nut to 35 Lb-in torque value. 4. AnchorthefancableandtheExtensionCabletothegroundstudontheright side of connectors, using the tie wrap and the Kep nut, supplied with the kit. Tighten the nut to 20 Lb-in torque value. RoutetheExtensionCable512462-1XXalongthecableharnessandconnect the other end of the Extension Cable directly to the LCM fan cable (see Figure 7), bypassing the LCM Filter. 6. UsetheTieWrap508281-001tosecuretheExtensionCabletothecable harness. Also, if necessary, use the Tie Wrap Mount 508280-001 to secure the Extension Cable to the MicroTurbine enclosure. 513275-001rA (Jan 2002) Page 6 of 7.
