Installinlet(513800)andoutlet(509608)fittingsonfuelpump. 5. Connect the two electrical leadwires to the bottom of the fuel pump. Use red (+) and black (-) for polarity identification. Fuel Pump Inlet/Outlet Fittings (2 each) Electrical Leadwires (2 places) 6. InstallnewLFCcircuitboardassembly508593andsecurewithfour phillips-head screws. NOTE Inspect fittings and connections for debris. Clean (if necessary) to eliminate the possibility of introducing fuel system contaminants. WARNING Circuit boards are very sensitive to static and other sources of electrical discharge. Use an electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist band connected to ground, and handle circuit boards by edges to protect board components against incidental electrical static. Phillips-head screws (4 each) LFC Circuit Board 508593 7. Replace the LFC cover plate, removed during disassembly, and secure with four flat-head screws.
