Avoid removing or tightening any factory-installed protective caps from fuel components (e.g. injectors, tubes) until installation. NOTE WARNING the fuel system. Introducing contaminants may cause clogged Be careful not to introduce any dirt, debris or contaminants into fuel system injectors, leading to system failures. Perform the following disassembly steps: 1. Clean all connections with degreaser and make sure connections are free of dirt and debris before disconnecting fittings. Wipe fittings with cloth to eliminate the possibility of introducing contaminants in the fuel system during the upgrade. 2. Inspectinsideofthetubeflaresonfuelandairlinesconnectingtoallthree injectors for signs of contaminants or debris. Lines should be free of all debris. NOTE: Inspect inside tube flare for contaminants and debris 3. Remove modular plate assembly from the engine frame by detaching the four hex-head bolts and washers from the corners.
