Both Open package and OEM configurations utilize a Fuel-on-the-Plate (FOP) design, however the OEM configuration consists of individually selected modules and requires package installation upon delivery. The Retrofit kit is part of the Capstone Liquid Fuel Improvement Program designed to enhance performance of low-lubricity liquid fuels and combustion stability in the 0 to 5 kW range. Major components of the kit are: improved injector design for combustion stability, addition of a 2-micron filter for increased filtration levels, boost pump, and improved electric fuel pump, and drain system operation. 440050-001 Rev A (March 2003) Page 1 of 20 This information is proprietary to Capstone Turbine Corporation.
