Unifin requires 110V power for almost every model except where an 80 gpm pump is installed. This pump requires 480V power. In either case, its onboard power transformer allows it to receive 480V power from the same circuit that the microturbine is connected to. Control Integration Table 3 below lists possible operating scenarios and the control interface needed to make the operation a reality. This is show in Figure 5 below. Other possible configurations might include installing the heat exchanger in parallel with the existing boiler. This will work when the heat exchanger water pump is relatively close in capacity with the boiler feedwater pump. Otherwise, the high pressure at the heat exchanger outlet will prevent recovered hot water from flowing as intended and dropping heat recovery in the process.
