6020 Internal Fault PWR LOSS HIGH Power Loss High System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared if the difference between the power into and out of the DC bus exceeds a preset value. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Engine Produces 10kW Less Power Than Expected Inadequate Fuel Supply If software fuel command is very high this would indicate that inadequate fuel is being provided to the system. Make sure fuel is in the tank and no restrictions exist in the fuel line to the system. Clogged Fuel Filter Debris in fuel filter is restrict- ing fuel flow to engine. Check fuel filters - sup- plied by Capstone and potentially by customer Inlet Thermistor Read- ing Incorrect Connecting thermistor mea- surement to the probe located in the stator housing returns a bad reading. Replace Inlet Thermistor Assume signal is not making it back to the control board Replace Thermistor Har- ness Measurement circuit must have failed if thermistor device and harness are good. Replace DPC Control Board Engine Thermocouple Reading Incorrect A high thermocouple reading could cause less fuel delivery and thus less power produc- tion from the engine. Mea- sure thermocouple output for verification. Replace Engine Thermo- couple Harness believed to have an intermittent short Replace Engine Thermo- couple Harness DPC Control board circuitry not measuring feedback cor- rectly. Replace DPC Control Board Engine Failure Failure in engine has occurred that results in a loss of power.
