6010 Internal Fault HI OVER TEMP Engine High Overtemperature System Severity Level 3 The HiOvertemperature fault is declared when software controls are unable to limit the engine TET to the set point (short duration TET limit). Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Turbine Exhaust Temperature Is Greater Than the Maximum Limit System Not Programmed with Correct Adjustments for Fuel. System requires knowledge of the fuels properties in order to determine mass flow require- ments. Adjust Fuel Indices Changes in BTU Content of Fuel Wider than the Range that System can Support Refer to system specification for maximum range of BTU content change the system can support. Regulate Fuel Supply RFC Fuel Inlet Pressure Makes Control Impossible RFC systems are unable to con- trol fuel flow when fuel inlet pressure is equal to backpressure of engine (evident by RFC oper- ating speed between -5000 and 5000 RPM). Note: Graph available for inlet pressure vs. engine power. Adjust Fuel Inlet Pressure Low Inlet Fuel Pressure Reading Inlet pressure readings lower than actual supply pressure will cause greater fuel flows than expected. Replace Inlet Pres- sure Sensor High Fuel Exit Pressure Reading Exit pressure readings higher than actual will cause greater fuel flows than expected.
