2010 Internal Fault INV IGBT DPC Sensed Inverter IGBT Failure System Severity Level 5 This fault is declared when the DPC Control Board senses a malfunction of the Inverter Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) module. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Inverter IGBT Fault Status indicates fault Low Power Supply Voltage Inadequate voltage to IPM power supply will cause no voltage pro- vided to IGBTs Determine why adequate voltage is not applied. Refer to Fault Code 3019. Check the power supply voltage - Refer to the Troubleshooting a MicroTurbine that Does Not Wake Up section. Refer to the Trouble- shooting a Micro- Turbine that Does Not Wake Up section. Failed IPM Power Supply IPM Power supply board lights are not illuminated when larger than 11.5 volts is being applied. Refer to Fault Code 10005. Ground Wiring Refer to the Installation documen- tation for proper grounding configu- ration. Correct electrical wiring configuration Shorted Loads Verify the external loads do not have a phase to neutral or phase to ground shorted. Disconnect loads and start system in the Stand Alone mode. Fix problem with the loads Inverter IGBT Shorted Measure the resistance from DC (+) to each leg of the IGBT, and from each leg to DC (-) to deter- mine if a short circuit exists. Check internal diodes in IGBT module. Replace Power Board Battery Voltage Missing (Stand Alone) Verify the DC bus voltage is present. Check battery DC bus connections.
