2000 Internal Fault VENT FAN DRV DPC Vent Fan Solenoid Driver System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared when the Vent Fan solenoid driver fails. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Vent Fan Status indicates over- current or under- current condition Wrong Solenoid Drive Component DPC Power Board should have a VN06 solenoid driver installed at U34 Replace Power Board Vent Fan Failed Start system and verify 13.8 VDC is applied at heat sink fan connector before fault is declared. Replace Vent Fan Vent Fan Cable Not Connected Fan Cable is not secure at the Vent Fan or J23 on the DPC Power Board Secure Vent Fan Cable connections Vent Fan Cable Damaged A loose wire at cable connector or in wire is creating an open or short circuit Replace Vent Fan Cable Generator Drive Cable Not Connected Generator Drive Cable is not secure at J12 on the DPC Control Board or J8 on the DPC Power Board Secure Generator Drive Cable connections Generator Drive Cable Damaged A loose wire at cable connector or in the cable is creating an open or short circuit Replace Generator Drive Cable Diode Shorted on Control Board Measure with a DMM to determine if diode D156 on the DPC Control Board is shorted to ground. Replace DPC Control Board (See Document 513176) Vent Fan Drive Solenoid Drive solenoid failed.
