16001 Fuel Fault FAIL TO PRIME Fail to Prime System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared when the amount of time expires before the fuel reaches the low-level sensor in the drain tank during the priming sequence. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Inadequate supply of fuel has been detected Inadequate time allowed for fuel subsystem to fill May be due to distance and/or elevation between fuel source and the MicroTurbine. Correct fuel installation issues Could be due to the customer’s application Contact Capstone Technical Support Priming Solenoid valve stuck or malfunctioning Priming Solenoid Valve may be mechanically stuck Check and verify if voltage is being provided to Priming Solenoid Valve. Replace Priming Solenoid Valve Replace RFC Controller Check and verify if voltage is being provided to Priming Solenoid Valve. Replace RFC Controller Boost Pump inoperative Boost Pump power source may not be installed correctly or power leads reversed. Verify all Boost Pump electrical connections Fuse on the UCB board may be damaged. Replace fuse on UCB Board Improper pump connections before (vacuum leak) or after (pressure leak) may be responsible. Leak check system Drain Tank sensor failure Check and verify voltage to Drain Tank sensor Replace Drain Tank Clogged Inlet Filter Check and verify system inlet for contaminants.
