7011 Fault (Cont’d) Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution System in Stand Alone Mode and no Battery found (Continued) Circuitry on User Connection Board failed. Jumper Battery Start terminals J10 pins 2 and 3 on User Connection Board. Verify that voltage across Battery Start terminals reads zero volt. Verify that voltage from Battery Start terminal reads greater than 5 volts. Replace User Connection Board J4 Harness connection not secure or failed. Check J4 Cable connection from UCB to ECM. This cable carries the Battery Start signal Replace Inter Harness Battery With battery circuit breaker ON, measure battery pack voltage. Verify the value is greater than 190 VDC. Replace Battery Battery Connec- tions to BCM With battery circuit breaker ON, measure battery pack voltage from battery side of Contactor coil to screw terminal E3 on BCM Power Board. Value should read greater than 190 VDC in the BCM. Trace connections back to battery and make sure connec- tions are secure. Ribbon Cable connecting BCM Control Board to BCM Power Board failed Check ribbon cable for wires not connected or making contact. Make sure that ribbon connections are made securely to each board. Replace ribbon cable. Component failure on BCM Control Board Press Battery Start button on the Display Panel or jumper Battery Start terminals on the User Connection Board. Verify that LED10 (BCM Pre-charge LED) lights up for 4 to 8 seconds. Attempt a BCM PM upload. Replace BCM Control Board. Component failure on BCM Power Board Battery Start Signal is reaching BCM Power Board, but the power supply is not turning on. Attempt a BCM PM upload. Replace BCM Power Board.
