7008 Internal Warning IN FLT2 LVL 3 Input Fault2 Level 3 System Severity Level 3 This fault indicates that a Fatal level fault has been injected into the UCB Fault Input #2. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Input Fault2 detection is enabled, but UCB contacts are closed. Fault2 Input not supposed to be enabled Enabling of this fault is user selectable. Even if enabled, fault mechanism is designed fail safe by faulting on contact closure. If not using this feature, disable from Display or RS-232 to avoid nuisance faults. Fault2 Input Debounce Time too short User can select the amount of time this signal must be present before a fault is reported. Sequencing may cause equipment to reside in state that causes nuisance faults. Extend user programmable debounce time for fault input from Display or RS-232 to avoid nuisance faults. Wrong action taken on fault User has the ability to assign action taken when fault is detected through user adjustable settings. For warning conditions set level to 2. For a normal shutdown sequence set level to 3. When output power must be disabled set level to 4. Change SSL of fault from Display or RS-232 to action taken when fault present. Input Fault 2 wires are shorted Fault is detected when UCB J12- pin 7 and J12-pin 8 have contact closure. Check user equipment for fault. Check wiring for shorts. UCB Inter Harness Interlock signals are carried from the UCB back to the ECM Control Board through the J4 Inter Harness. Ensure that these connections are secure and wire is dry and not damaged. Secure or dry J4 Harness at UCB and ECM Control Board. Replace if dam- aged. UCB failed If all connections are secure, circuitry on UCB must not be functioning correctly. Replace UCB ECM Control Board failed The ECM Control Board has circuitry that communicates with the UCB. Assume this has failed. Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Replace ECM Control Board.
