6021 Internal Fault FAIL TO PRECHG Fail to Precharge System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared if the precharge circuit for the automotive application fails. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Battery does not precharge internal DC Bus in Stand Alone operation Battery State of Charge (SOC) Low Verify the transient battery state of charge is greater than 30 SOC and voltage is greater than 210 volts. Recharge Battery Pack BCM Contactor does not close When start command is issued, the contactor in BCM does not close allowing DC bus to charge. Replace BCM Contactor Grid does not precharge internal DC Bus in Grid Connect operation Grid Power not applied Logic power provided from the BCM, but grid power not available to charge DC bus. Apply Grid Power to Output Precharge Board in LCM failed Grid power is applied, but DC bus voltage is reading less than 1.414 * VACutility (LL).
