Open external fuel shutoffs Fuel BTU content different from what system expects System uses Fuel Index values adjustable by the user to compute mass flow of fuel. Wrong settings can cause inadequate levels of fuel flow to achieve combustion. Set Fuel Indices. Confirm Site Btu Content. Adequate Fuel Pressure not provided to system System requires a minimum inlet pressure to achieve adequate fuel flow. Refer to system specifications to adjust fuel pressure Verify the Run signal from the UCB is present by checking the settings and relay functionality. Adjust settings/ Replace UCB Board. External fuel gas booster failure Troubleshoot FGB Ambient Tempera- ture too low Combustion of fuels becomes more difficult at lower ambient conditions. Refer to specifications for ambient temperature operating range. Ambient conditions Faulty TCIN Thermocouple TCIN reads -4 °F. Replace faulty inlet thermistor No voltage provided to the Exciter Verify that 24Volts is provided from the harness during start. Replace harness Check the Power Supply voltage. If it does not measure 24 Volts, check the PDM output. Replace PDM. Replace ECM Control Board.
