16000 Fuel Fault PMP NOT PRIMED Pump Not Primed System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared if the Frame Personality Module value for the Prime Status (“PRMSTS”) indicates the system has not been primed (0). This fault can be reported after an unsuccessful Priming Sequence 16001 Fail to Prime fault, or three consecutive 16004 Fail to Linefill faults. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Unsuccessful priming sequence No fuel in line Fault may occur due to lack of fuel in the line (unprimed fuel subsystem). Prime the fuel subsystem and re-run priming sequence. Check fault history for 16001 and 16004 faults. Perform troubleshooting for 16001 and 16004 faults Priming sequence not completed in the allowable time May be due to distance and/or elevation between fuel source and the MicroTurbine. Correct fuel installation issues Could be due to the customer’s application Contact Capstone Technical Support Faulty Priming Solenoid Valve Check and verify voltage is being provided to Priming Solenoid Valve. Replace Priming Solenoid Valve Failed Boost Pump Check and verify voltage is provided from UCB Circuit Board to Boost Pump Replace fuse on UCB Failed Fuel Pump Check LFC Pump PWM (%) and verify Fuel Pump is operating correctly Replace Electric Fuel Pump Observe Safety Precautions - Refer to Safety Instructions for Details 430001-001 Rev D (June 2003) 14-2 Model C30 Troubleshooting Guide This information is proprietary to Capstone Turbine Corporation.
