12020 Internal Fault BATT BOARD SH Battery Board Thermistor Short Failure System Severity Level 5 The software declares a Board Thermistor Short fault, when the measured board temperature exceeds the Battery Controller Transient Short parameter value, for any sample period. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The BCT DSP Has Detected the Short Circuit Condition of the BCT Control Board Thermistor. The assumed short temperature for the circuit board temperature sensor is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCT Power Board PM is programmed prop- erly, and it is supported by the installed BCT control software. Re-program the BCT Power Board PM. Debris or water in package. Clean the BCT Control Board Clean the BCT Controller Faulty BCT Control Board BCT Control Board needs replacing. Packets are transmitted from the Battery Controller Transient DSP at a fixed rate, verifying the link is active. The software declares a loss of processor communication fault when the write verify failure counter reaches a preset value. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The Battery PM Write Verification Failure Counter Reaches 100. Open/Loose Connection Check the cable connection between the BCT control board and the battery pack. Tighten cable connections Faulty BCT Control Board BCT Control Board needs replacing.
