12018 Internal Fault BATT BOARD OT Battery Board Thermistor Overtemperature System Severity Level 5 The components on the circuit board have a specific maximum temperature rating. Above this temperature the behavior of the control circuits can no longer be considered predictable. The software declares a board overtemperature fault, when the measured temperature from the board exceeds the Board Overtemperature setting, for any sample period. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The Low-pass Filtered Circuit Board Tempera- ture Exceeds the Board Over- temperature Setting. The board overtempera- ture limit for the circuit board temperature sensor is commanded wrongly When use the RS-232 com- mand of BCTBOT to reset the board overtemperature limit, the value should be in °C. Use right value to set the board Over- temperature Limit. The default value of the Board overtemperature limit is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCT Power Board PM is programmed properly, and it is supported by the installed BCT control software. Re-program the BCT Power Board PM. Open/Loose Connection Check the cable connections related the vent fan of the BCT controller. Fix any loose or faulty connection. The vent fan failed or the cooling airflow is blocked. Inspect the vent fan of the BCT controller, make sure that it is working properly. Check if the cooling airflow is blocked. Fix any problem relating the vent fan and cooling airflow. Faulty BCT Control Board BCT control board needs replacing. Replace BCT Control Board (See Document 513175) 12019 Internal Fault BATT BOARD OP Battery Board Thermistor Open Failure System Severity Level 5 The software declares a Board Thermistor Open fault, when the measured board temperature is less than the Battery Controller Transient Open parameter value, for any sample period. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The BCT DSP has detected the open circuit condition of the BCT Control Board thermistor. The assumed open temperature for the circuit board tempera- ture sensor is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCT Power Board PM is pro- grammed properly, and it is supported by the installed BCT control software. Re-program the BCT Power Board PM. Faulty BCT Control Board BCT control board needs replacing.
