Example transmissions are provided with the definition of each command below. Read Holding Registers (Function Code 03) This function reads a single or multiple holding register values. The command requires a Slave Address, Function Code, Start Address, Register Count, and CRC16. Attempting to read a non-existent or write-only register will cause an exception. The example shown in the table below shows how to read the system Power Output value starting at register 42107 and ending with 42108.
