Copeland Fuel Gas Booster General Application Information System Faults Indications Four primary fault conditions can be indicated by a LCD display. If the main electrical power is turned off after a fault the PLC memory will be cleared and the cause of the fault lost. Below are likely causes of each fault: “Low Inlet Gas Pressure Fault” 1. Closed Gas Inlet Ball Valve 2. Restricted or Insufficient Gas Supply 3. Blocked Inlet Filter or “Y” Strainer 4. If the SYSTEM starts and runs until the microturbines demand for fuel increases and then shuts down with a ”Low Inlet Gas Pressure Fault” and the fault can immediately be reset suspect that the gas supply to the System is not sufficient to meet the peak demand of the Microturbine “High Oil Temperature Fault” 1. Blocked Air Flow 2. Fan Control Thermostat or related wiring 3. Fan or related wiring 4. Loss of upper sump oil “High Discharge Pressure Fault” 1. Restricted discharge and Bypass Valve Fault 2.
