Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 Application Guide: Dual Mode Controller (DMC) Indicator Lamp Operation Three indicator lamps are mounted on the door of the DMC, and they are identified and operate as detailed in the following paragraphs. See Figure 4. Figure 4. Indicator Lamps MICROTURBINE AWAKE (LP3) Indicator Lamp The MICROTURBINE AWAKE lamp is illuminated when the MicroTurbine controls are energized. In a MultiPac system, this lamp illuminates when the master MicroTurbine controls are energized. LOAD POWER (LP1) Indicator Lamp The LOAD POWER lamp is illuminated when the Protected Loads are energized by either the utility, or the MicroTurbine(s). LINE POWER (LP2) Indicator Lamp The LINE POWER lamp is illuminated when the utility voltages are at an acceptable level and of the correct rotational sequence (L1, L2, L3). If the LINE POWER lamp does not illuminate when the DMC is first energized by the utility, then check the utility supply for both correct voltage and for correct rotational sequence. 513000-001 (Oct 2001) Page 11 of 32 DMC Application Guide.
